Supply of parts is regarded as a complementary activity - usually in conjunction with some other service being provided - and therefore can be done at very favourable prices. System builds and upgrades are usually quoted at cost of materials plus a competitive charge for the work. The prices we quote are excellent because of our lower overheads. The markups on systems and parts bought from some of the national suppliers often add 50% or more to the price you COULD be paying for the same things! One big mail order company advertises headline prices that look very attractive. Down in the small print you will find that there is a standard delivery charge per system nearly £40 more than the price you can actually pay to get Amtrak or other distributors to deliver next day! Thus a system quoted at (say) £399 is actually costing you a more likely £439 - then they add the VAT! We do not do this and the price you are quoted is the price you will actually pay! The moral is check the small print and work out the REAL cost before commiting!
New systems are available at specifications created specially for your particular needs. We use latest ranges of processors and parts from the main makers. Because specifications can vary so much - with starting prices below £400 plus VAT - you are recommended to call and discuss your requirement and obtain a quote tailored exactly to your needs.
In the case of requests for repairs or upgrades we will look at the problem first without obligation or charge to check that it can be resolved before identifying the cost.
For new systems, repairs and upgrades, collection and delivery, as well as set-up, is included as part of the service in the East Devon area.
