Ray Galton & Alan Simpson

Ray and Alan have been active scriptwriters for some 40 years with numerous succcesses on radio and in television and cinema. They are best known for their massively popular series "Hancock's Half Hour" and "Steptoe and Son". Hancock was a big hit when first broadcast on the radio becoming compulsive listening for millions and achieving near cult status. The series later moved over comfortably to television and has been repeated many times. Steptoe and Son was first shown on television in the early 1960s and has been broadcast on radio and repeated on television many times since including very recent showings.

RockTech Associates Limited has been working on behalf of Ray and Alan to produce a computerised solution for the storage and retrieval of early television scripts (becoming a bit worn with age and repeated copying) so that they can be easily found and printed from CDROM media so that the paper can be safely archived and preserved.
